Continuing our photographic record of surprising wine-related phenomena found by lawyer Nick Bartman during his five-week tour of China, we show today that Chinese ingenuity and resourcefulness is not limited to the creation of dubious bottles, labels and wine boxes.
These two images are of wine 'chateaux', under construction (top) and completed (bottom). But according to Bartman, 'from the outside they look sort of special but once inside they are nothing but a factory and offices. Shame, but this is China.'
They do look as though constructed with the help of a set of child's building bricks, don't they...
