Rarely has relief been so palpable as when I found out last month that after three years of working on the third part of the MW examination, I have finally got approval for a research paper proposal!
This means that I am clear to execute the methodology and analysis described therein, then to submit the paper in June 2015, receiving a result a few months later. Potentially, then – whisper it – I could be a Master of Wine by this time next year. With my proposal now approved, the door is most definitely ajar.
