I have recently had a Coudoulet de Beaucastel (2000 I think) and there were very strong aromas of farmyard. However, the wine itself was intense and rich and much enjoyed. So much that I ordered a case but got the 2002 which did not have the farmyard aromas and, whilst still excellent, was not. More...
