Anyone who doubts the usefulness of Twitter would be well advised to look at this thread on our Members' forum. It's entitled 'Thank you, Jancis' but it should really be called 'Thank you, tweeter @Mongoose847R', who alerted me yesterday afternoon to the fact that Ch Rieussec 2010 was being offered at almost half price by Slurp.co.uk – at £250 a dozen when most fine wine merchants are charging closer to £500 for it. I then immediately tweeted this good news (I was on my way to a glamorous Tesco tasting so couldn't add it...
