A collection from Montalcino

I hereby share with you a collection of tasting notes on (generally unrelated) wines from Montalcino tasted recently. They served to remind me just what a lovely, and useful, wine Rosso di Montalcino can be. 

Eleven of the Brunellos were tasted at a masterclass tutored by Rome-based wine writer Ian D'Agata that formed part of the China Wine Summit in Shanghai at the end of last month. It was interesting to see Chinese reaction to these wines. To some palates, they seemed to lack stuffing while others appreciated their beauty.
