Bordeaux 2007 – should you buy?

You may well be thoroughly bored by Bordeaux. But if you are at all interested in the world’s biggest fine wine market you should be interested in the vintage currently being offered en primeur as it is so unusual.
The wines are extremely soft and early maturing so this vintage is hardly one for investors, which in some ways is good. There should be few inflationary pressures on the early releases with any luck.
There are some lovely dry whites and impressive sweet whites so this is clearly a vintage to jump in to either or both...
