Can there be a Parker-less 2007 campaign?

Bordeaux, by which of course I mean those involved in wine in Bordeaux, is abuzz with speculation and downright panic at the news that the man who makes the market, Robert Parker, is definitely not making his usual January trip to review the 2005s in bottle and, because of pending back surgery, may not make it over the Atlantic in March to taste and pronounce on the 2007s.
The first and most important thing to be said is that I’m sure everyone who has ever heard of him wishes Maryland’s most famous wine enthusiast the very best of luck...
