There is a certain degree of insanity in scooping wines into one article that geographically covers more or less 1,800 km (1,100 miles) as the crow flies. The (macro, meso and micro) climates, cultures and soils that span this area encompass so much more than just distance, and it would be hubris to draw conclusions or make any sort of judgment on the wines of a part of the planet that was not only the birthplace...
