Champagne – current releases

It's always interesting to monitor the latest champagne vintages and I've had a couple of chances recently: one tasting a selection of champagnes submitted for British Airways first class that I was able to taste blind, and the busy, sighted annual generic tasting put on in London's historic Banqueting Hall by the champagne producers.
As you can see, the 2002s are generally looking really very attractive at the moment, and the 2004s are coming along nicely. I hope you find these notes useful – and was interested to learn that the UK so resoundly retains its status as champagne's number...
