Château Suduiraut is a huge estate, nearly 200 hectares (494 acres) all told, counting vineyard, woodland and pasture. Cattle used to graze on the last but today it simply contributes to the property’s individual ecosystem. Vines account for around 90 hectares, give or take the odd hectare being replanted or lying fallow, with Sémillon the principal grape variety at 90% and a further 10% of Sauvignon Blanc.
