The recent Chianti Classico presentation heralded the long-hoped-for introduction of subzones, each officially called a UGA or Unità Geografica Aggiunta. As expected, they are the same as the world-famous Chianti Classico communes such as Radda, Castellina, Gaiole and Greve.
