Back in 2004 I wrote an article entitled Organic movement sweeps Chile, not pointing out that in the viticultural paradise that is Chile, with its dry climate and remarkably low disease pressure, it is strange that so few producers are, or at least claim to be, organic.
Last month I attended a wine tasting organised by Wines of Chile at which nearly 100 wines were on the tasting sheet but only three producers were described...
