The bottles shown here include the oldest rosés ever to have come my way (though Lopez de Heredia can field some fine older rosado). See below and my account to be published on Saturday for details of how remarkably satisfying the 1988 was, and how well in general the famous pink wines of Domaine Tempier in Bandol age. In fact I suspect that the great majority of bottles of this totemic Provençal wine are drained long before they should ideally be opened.
