Fighting fraud in China

Lawyer Nick Bartman, who supplied all the photographs in our recent revealing series on the sort of questionable business practices now commonplace in the rapidly developing Chinese wine market, has set up a body to fight fraud there. He has experience of successfully pursuing malpractice in China and feels that the wine trade needs to be more proactive at this vital stage. To that end he has formed the Wine Protection Group and is actively encouraging wine producers to join, as below.
