From the vault – prehistoric Condrieus

I include this, the final set of tasting notes from the Grand Rhône Tasting of April 1994, more for completeness than anything else. Other sets of tasting notes are: Guigal LaLas 1978-89 (supplemented by another set of Guigal LaLas 1985-91 from a 1998 tasting) and Chave v Chapelle. And also this week, a set of Châteauneuf tasting notes in Bonneau v Beaucastel.
Note that back then, when assembling significant Condrieus, the names Cuilleron, Gaillard, Gangloff, Niero and Villard did not feature. In my accompanying notes, I registered that the total area under vine was expanding rapidly.
