In Hong Kong I bumped into Tim Mondavi who was there, like me, because of a wine-related fundraiser and charity auction, unfortunately just two nights after the FT event. He told me that although the first wine, a 2005, has been made under the auspices of the new company formed by his father Robert, himself and his sister Marcie, they don’t yet have a name for this ‘fifth beginning’, as he called it.
