Luxury rosé champagne from LVMH

Most people are prepared to pay a premium for champagne, whether or not they understand the reasons for that premium. But is it worth paying even more for the pink version?
The 12 wines tasted below provide a good case study. They are all owned by luxury behemoth LVMH, and represent five of the world's 10 best-selling champagne brands. Checking the average prices for each brand on wine-searcher.com reveals that rosé cuvées are anywhere between 13% and 195% more expensive than their white counterparts. At the top end, such higher prices might be explained (if not excused) by rarity...
