Lirac, just across the Rhône from Châteauneuf and in some ways a less expensive version of it, was solid in 2019.
While Lirac can often vary quite considerably in its quality due to its varied terroirs, it can offer excellent value for money and this is true in 2019. It is one of only two crus (along with Vacqueyras) that offer all three colours and it performed...
