Some better wines from Cyprus

With the exception of the historic sweet wine Commandaria, Cyprus has not generally had a reputation for fine wines, partly due to the distance between the vineyards and the wineries, and perhaps partly because, as in other tourist destinations such as Greece, wines have not been handled very carefully en route to the consumer.
