Some recommended Scheureben from David Schildknecht

2003 purple pagers may remember my rave early last month about Wittmann's Scheurebe trocken 2002. Here are some Scheus that Ohio German wine specialist David Schildknecht recommends (indeed prefers, if I am to read between his eloquent lines).
Some Scheureben to watch are those from Weegmüller in Haardt (Pfalz) where Hans-Günter Schwarz [late of Müller-Catoir] is now working. Terry Theise is bringing the wines into the States. Under Schwarz's influence even before he left Catoir, Stefanie Weegmüller had planted additional Scheurebe, some of it not yet in production.
