The week before last I had the great pleasure of exploring Tasmanian wine country for the first time while attending the eighth International Cool Climate Symposium in Hobart .
While there, I tasted as many Tasmanian wines as I could and below is the result, nearly 160 Tasmanian wines reviewed, listed in alphabetical order of producer (sur)name. On this promising island there is just one appellation, or Geographic Indication, as it is called in Australia.
