Claudia Pendred, a talented veteran of the Pol Roger Business School Alumni blind tasting competition, is currently stationed in Bucharest and sends this second report on some of Romania's better wines.
The International Wine Fair in Bucharest, held at the end of last month, has become an annual event and a showcase for many Romanian wines. This year I focused on tasting wines from both new and reclaimed Romanian vineyards.
CORCOVA
