So Michael Mondavi has been shown the door by his fellow directors of the beleaguered wine company that bears his father's name. Hardly surprising since he has been talking widely on the record about how the price being asked for the original Oakville winery (which he and his brother Tim would dearly like to acquire) is far too high. It's all awfully sad, isn't it? And I am amused by the way that all the cheaper Mondavi lines are lumped together under the heading 'lifestyle'.
