I'm looking forward very much to flying out to Bordeaux later today to taste the 2012 left bank primeurs. Had been planning to go out at the weekend but Nick did his back in on Friday and needed 24-hour care for a while. Julia nobly stood in for me at short notice and will be reporting in her usual estimable style on the right bank 2012s. Meanwhile...
