Two related Burgundy names

By complete coincidence, I happen to have tasted a range of wines from two related Burgundy producers recently. Nicolas Potel is the son of the late Gérard Potel and was therefore raised on the Domaine de la Pousse d'Or, the beautiful house at the southern end of the village of Volnay in the Côte de Beaune, from whose terrace (pictured) you can see Mont Blanc on a good day.
Subsequently he set up one of the first smaller, quality-orientated négociant businesses that now proliferate in Burgundy, using his own name and not inconsiderable network of contacts at some of Burgundy's...
