If one had to sum up the 2010 vintage in a nutshell, the one word to describe it best would have to be 'difficult'.
It cannot be denied that the weather was far from any grower's dream. Some of the first statements delivered from the producers' side, after the harvest was completed, appeared unduly optimistic in view of the general lack of sunshine and surplus of rain that more or less all regions had to endure.
