I wrote last year about how promising the 1996 vintage looks and now many more houses have released theirs. Read this in conjunction with those notes and also my notes on top-quality champagnes (both on purple pages 2002).
Stars have been awarded out of a possible total of five, within the context of wine style. ***+ is between *** and **** in quality. Stars in brackets denote potential further development.
The wines below are listed from most recent to oldest vintage and then alphabetically.
