At the beginning of this month Nick and I went to Israel and the West Bank – my first trip ever and Nick's first since he was a student on an archeological dig. It was fascinating to catch up with the fast-changing food and wine scene in between trying to understand this extraordinary, and politically highly-charged, part of the world.
