2008 red burgundy – a second look

I'm very grateful to Flint Wines for organising a major horizontal tasting of representative 2008 red burgundies last week. The wines were picked so late and evolved so slowly in the cellar that they were particularly embryonic when tasted in late 2009 and early 2010 for my 2008 burgundy report.
It was a particularly eventful tasting, described in detail in Saturday's FT article, but here for the moment are the tasting notes alone.
