As a coda to Nick's mouthwatering article about the cuisine of the Var département in Provence on Saturday, today seemed a suitable day to publish this little collection of tasting notes on various Provençal wines in all three colours to have come my way recently.
Of course Provence is most readily associated with pink wines, the archetypal holiday lubricant.
