A Viader vertical

Berlin-based wine writer Stuart Pigott persuaded Delia Viader to open up a vertical of her NapaValley red when he published his new book Planet Wine in London in September – chiefly I think because she took to him when he arrived to interview her on her HowellMountain property. This is one of the NapaValley’s most terroir-driven and most consistent wines and in the end I found it pretty useless to mark the wines, as you will see below. They varied by vintage characteristics but not by quality.
