Another mega sale from Sotheby's – 2001

Sotheby's may be experiencing a little local difficulty over price fixing, but in the wine department they must be licking their lips over another massive single-owner two-day sale in London at the end of June. They're hoping the sale will total more than 2.3 million pounds. (The record is Sotheby's 8.8 million pound New York 'Millennium Wine Cellar' sale of a Norwegian collector whose previous London sale broke all previous records. He will not, I am reliably informed, be selling again.)
