Barolo 2011 Night – the tasting notes
Monday, 4 January 2016

A highlight of our celebrations of my 40th anniversary of writing about wine and Julia's 10th anniversary of toiling for JancisRobinson.com was our third Barolo Night at Caravan, King's Cross, in London. This year it was the turn of the 2011 vintage to be showcased in this unique chance to taste 41 of the finest wines of Italy, handpicked by our hard-working Italian specialist Walter Speller.
See Barolo 2011 Night in pictures for a report on the evening and, for a list of links to various articles about 2011 Barolo, see also Nebbiolo Prima 2015 – the guide.
