In hot weather, even I can be tempted by a characterful beer. Richard Neville, once an award-winning wine merchant and now cruising the canals of France and Belgium on a hundred year-old barge, has filed this vastly comprehensive report on Belgian beers, which I firmly believe are the most interesting for wine lovers.
