Bordeaux 2015 – first hurdle overcome

The most exciting thing that happened to us when Nick and I spent a few days in Bordeaux last week was a consequence of Chinese determination to drink young wine.
We had been invited to dinner at Mouton by Philippe Dhalluin and his new boss Philippe de Sereys de Rothschild. This was preceded by a tasting of all of Dhalluin’s vintages of Mouton, plus the 2003 that was the last made by his predecessor Patrick Léon, on which I will report in detail, of course.
