This time last year, Jancis wrote enthusiastically about Bordeaux’s 2019 vintage following the annual ‘Four Years On’ tasting organised by Farr Vintners at their HQ on the south bank of the Thames, the waterside location that has superseded the original one, after which the tasting is still named, in the seaside town of Southwold, on England’s east coast.
