Bordeaux is really getting in the organic, and food-pairing, groove … as a Zoom lunch, and an unusual breakfast, proved.
I was a little dubious when I opened the massive box sent by Daylesford Organic in the Cotswolds to accompany an online tasting of six wines from three organic estates in Bordeaux. First of all, the volume of packing straw outflanked the volume of items within by about six to one. I could have bedded down a flock of five hens for a week. Secondly, I was not convinced it was necessary to have a gigantic box for five items...
