Chianti Classico Collezione 2019 – Riserva and Gran Selezione

Walter finds that Chianti Classico Riserva is still more convincing than Gran Selezione, and reports on a possible vineyard classification. See also yesterday's report on the 2017 Chianti Classico and late-released 2016s. 

At this year’s Chianti Classico’s vintage presentation last February in Florence, tasting the new Riservas and Gran Seleziones side by side was a revealing if not a very encouraging exercise, especially with regard to the latter.
