As much as COVID-19 took – and take it certainly did – it also returned to us something that as a society we have been too long without: time.
Time for growers to reacquaint themselves with their vineyards. Time to assess the changing needs of those vineyards in our increasing climate emergency. Time to reacquaint themselves with the cellar. One winemaker even admitted that without the time that the pandemic gave him, one of his cru wines...
