Guillaume d'Angerville is rather different from the average Burgundian wine producer. He is still basically a banker in Paris (for long with J P Morgan) but has been running this renowned domaine in Volnay since the death of his father in 2003. He has instigated all sorts of changes, which seem to be inspired by a genuine love, and increasing understanding, of Burgundy and its wines.
