Our Pinot week ends tomorrow with a set of tasting notes and some fascinating views from Jean-Marie Fourrier of Domaine Fourrier, cited by Burghound in this video as a possible successor to the late Henri Jayer.
Linden Wilkie, organiser of premium tastings for his Fine Wine Experience, was kind enough to invite me to his recent look at Romanée-St-Vivant conducted by Anthony Hanson MW. I lapped it up but the trouble was that all the really good vintages were too young to drink and there seemed to be a bit of a hole in the middle of the range...
