Gems of Andalucía ignored

One welcome addition to London's overcrowded tasting calendar is the annual Big Fortified Tasting, or BFT, designed to showcase stronger wines to professional tasters and now run by port enthusiast Alex Bridgeman. It was held last month and he was kind enough to share some details of those who attended. The proportion of no shows may not surprise other event organisers but they did surprise me. Of the 544 registered attendees, only 320 actually showed up.
