Great Granges back to 1955

These are the notes from an amazing recent tasting organised in London by MARC Fine Wines of a range of 22 top vintages of Penfolds Grange back to the legendary 1955. See Putting Grange back on the map for a detailed account of Grange and the event. These bottles confirmed that this is a great wine, though revealed that a certain amount of patience is required to appreciate it. I do not actively enjoy young Grange, I must admit, but can drool with the rest of them over mature bottles.
