The official English name of this Greek producers’ association is Artisanal Wineries of Greece (AWG) but the translation of the original Greek name – Σύνδεσμος Μικρών Οινοποιών Ελλάδος (ΣΜΟΕ) – is actually Small Wineries of Greece and this is definitely more accurate.
