Hand Picked Burgundy – a new merchant

British wine lovers who especially love burgundy may be interested in a relatively new outfit, Hand Picked Burgundy, set up by Peter Sidebotham of Northallerton, North Yorkshire.
He specialises in mature, or maturing, Maureen (see this thread in the forum), burgundy sold by the single bottle. He says he buys about half of his stock from auction, about 30% from the trade and 20% from individuals. He insists that his bottles are “quality assured”.
