The most amazing Barolo vertical tasting took place recently in … London. Above, Jenny and Marco Marengo showing their wines to Oz Clarke at a Justerini & Brooks tasting the day afterwards, Odderos in the background.
Marco, Jenny and Stefano Marengo constitute the entire team at M Marengo, and for many years from 2001, when Marco’s father died, until their son Stefano joined them, it was just the two of them, pictured. They make a fine team, she on the commercial side speaking good English and he grinning affably at the apparently effortless (ha, ha) quality of his wines.
