Maureen Downey of Chai Consulting, best-known for her work fighting counterfeit wines, provides this survey of 55 current Napa Valley Cabernets and Bordeaux blends for which no second mortgage is required.
With so much 2012 Napa Valley Cabernet on the shelves, and the 2013 set to arrive soon, my initial intention with this tasting was to compare some of the more affordable examples from two strong vintages.
