New Wave Spanish reds

Every summer for the last four years a panel of professional tasters in London have worked their way through hundreds of the Spanish wines in commercial circulation in the UK and picked out those they think worthy of a so-called New Wave Spanish Award.
Nearly 900 wines were submitted for this year's competition and after two days' tasting a panel of 16 tasters, led by Tim Atkin MW, ended up giving awards to 124 of them – 15 more than last year.
