Notes from a Friday lunch

A couple of months ago in Singapore, I was treated to one of those lazy lunches that I seem to encounter only when far from London by local wine authority Curtis Marsh of The Wandering Palate. He had assembled several of the city's most prominent wine enthusiasts and commentators (left to right in the picture below) Sara Mayo of The Local Nose, aspiring MW Suzanne Brocklehurst and my fellow Master of Wine Lisa Perrotti-Brown of www.erobertparker.com. Behind Curtis's camera were Henry Hariyono of Artisan Cellars and Chek Leng Wong, one of Singapore Airlines' team of keen sommeliers....
