Ought more wine to be shipped in bulk?

Wine lovers may have to start examining their ecological consciences. In the UK at least there are official moves afoot to try to persuade us of the virtues of transporting wine in bulk as opposed to bottle. A UK government-funded initiative Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) claims that carbon emissions would be reduced by 30% on average, and 40% from Australia, if wine were shipped to the UK in bulk instead of in bottle.
